Brooks Road is our chemical manufacturer for Dioctyl Sulfosuccinate (DOSS) which is a good wetting agent. MFG has a lot of history with DOSS – we’ve manufactured it for decades. One of the biggest things for MFG is our flexibility. It’s not very difficult for us to run one sample for a customer so that we can help them out and provide flexibility and quick turnaround time that they like to see from contract chemical manufacturers.
Callahan Road is our water soluble polymers facility. We do a lot of free radical polymerization there. We use a lot of maleic anhydride, acrylic acid, and a lot of other vinyl-based monomers. We have the capability to do multi-feed polymerizations, such as three simultaneous feeds to generate free radical polymers.
Kimberly Park Drive is primarily used for non-aqueous-type industrial chemistry like free radical polymerization, imidazoline chemistries, esters, and amids. At this facility, we have a fractionating column, one of our reactors, and it has around 24 theoretical plates to provide a lot of flexibility towards what we can do. Kimberly Park also houses our main research facility where we are able to do HPLC, FTIR, and the GC Mass Spec.
