Muscular Dystrophy Association Fundraising Event
Brenden Crowe, grandson of Barry Lassiter, Director – EHS&S with MFG Chemical in Dalton, Georgia, is seen here holding a check presented to the Muscular Dystrophy Association by the Chattanooga Fire Department. $84,063 was collected during their annual MDA fundraising events. Brenden, 9, was diagnosed with Duchenne’s Muscular Dystrophy in 2010 and is the local Good Will Ambassador for the MDA.
The Chattanooga Firefighters raised more money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association than any other fire department in the state of Tennessee.
Money raised locally helps MDA provide support for patients and their families with world class health care at MDA clinics, access to summer camps and support groups, and assistance with medical equipment.
