Amides are N-containing compounds derived from the reaction of an amine and fatty acid(s) or oils.
Amides can impart emulsification, lubricity and corrosion protection to a formulation. Oleic and tall oil amides will generally give better emulsification properties.

APPLICATIONS: Used in Industrial, household and hard surface cleaners. Boosts and stabilizes foam. Has thickening properties.
