Chattanooga (March 1, 2024) – MFG Chemical, a leader in specialty and custom chemical manufacturing, is proud to announce its acquisition of Masters Company. This is in addition to MFG’s August 2022 acquisition of Radical Polymers.  The capabilities of MFG Chemical, Radical Polymers, and Masters Company creates an exceptionally broad offering of specialty additives, blending, finished formulations and ultra-concentrates, reagent test kits and analytical services to the AWT membership.

For over 60 years Masters Company has been producing private labeled products and services, with regulatory and technical support for industrial, commercial, food safety, fuel oil, education, and scientific water treatment markets. This includes blending, ultra concentrates, test kits and services such as PDQ and RediTab phosphonate tests, enhanced polymer testing, calcium scale removal, iron/rust removal agents and peracetic acid testing for sanitation/water treatment applications.  Masters Company is a member of the Association of Water Technologies (AWT), having been named “Supplier of the Year”, the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE), and the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers.

MFG’s acquisition of Masters Company comes less than two years since its purchase of Radical Polymers. Radical Polymers is a team of chemists with nearly 40 years of specific expertise in the design and application of water treatment additives. Radical Polymers’ popular INITIA® product line of polymer additives provides customers with highly customized tools to meet the most challenging applications. Radical Polymers has also been awarded “Supplier of the Year” by the Association of Water Technologies (AWT).
