Amides are N-containing compounds derived from the reaction of an amine and fatty acid(s) or oils.
Amides can impart emulsification, lubricity and corrosion protection to a formulation. Oleic and tall oil amides will generally give better emulsification properties.
MFG Chemical amides are produced with various amines and a number of fatty acids, giving the formulator a choice to meet their needs.
