Amides are N-containing compounds derived from the reaction of an amine and fatty acid(s) or oils.
Amides can impart emulsification, lubricity and corrosion protection to a formulation. Oleic and tall oil amides will generally give better emulsification properties.

Amine Value: 120-180 mg KOH/g
pH5% aq. 9.5 – 11.0
Acid Value: 40-50 mg KOH/g
Free amine: 28-32%
APPLICATIONS: Used in Industrial, household and hard surface cleaners. Boosts and stabilizes foam. Gives improved detergency. Has thickening properties.
