Founded in 1980 and headquartered in Chattanooga, Tennessee, with seven manufacturing plants, MFG provides customized chemical solutions for a diverse range of markets, including water treatment, industrial coatings, oil & gas, pulp & paper, personal care, mining, metal working, agriculture, and HI&I.

Speciality Chemicals’ November/December 2025 issue has published a 5-page article by Mike Standish, entitled “Using Polymers for Composite Control in Once-Through Utility Systems.” Mike details an alternative to HEDP for calcium carbonate control. Mike Standish is MFG Chemical’s VP of Water Technologies and the co-founder of Radical Polymers, a specialty chemical company renowned for designing innovative polymer additives for water treatment, detergent, and oil applications.
